Hi all, I'm new here and just want to get something off my chest. I've just completed my 100th game after joining on Wednesday, so have thankfully lost my 'newbie' status. I'm not an excellent player by any means, and have lost more than I have won, but can hold my own against the average player.

I spent a few hours practicing and playing games, and got up to a reasonable standard.What really bugged me were the few players who I played against that couldn't handle it if a 'newbie' pulled of a nice shot against them or gave them a close game. One guy accused me of lying and having multiple accounts after only 2 shots! He was of a much higher standard than me and beat me easily after my good start, but it left a sour taste to the game.

If you're that bothered about a newbie giving you a half decent game, don't bother playing them, stay on the practice table if you don't want your pride hurt. And also to the player who said he would report me, check my profile, my highest break is about 30 odd after 100 games and I've lost a high percentage. Not exactly the sign of a lying cheat with lots of experience.

Sorry for the rant, I know I should have ignored them, but I want to know if its happened to any of you.

Some people are just sore losers or expect to thrash everyone coz they are Pro or above. Not everyone is like that tho, maybe less that 1%

I played a Virtuoso on my road to 100 games on arcade. Beat him 1-0 and he left straight away.

In all fairness he could have had somewhere else he had to be, but he could have at least said goodbye.
