i can get an apprenticeship
but i want to go in the army,
live my own life

why are you training to be an electrician then?

because i like the job, but i want to join the army
as its a once in a life time, ocne im too old thats it, and i probly would regret it,
so ill learn the trade in the army and when i come out i can use the trade

You can carry on the training in the Army Jamie if you want

When you sign up you say that you are training to be an electrician and you would like to carry it on - then they can put you into the appropriate regiment and you can carry on learning
