Whatever happened to the decent Forum that used to surround this game? There used to be banter, fun and even the odd tease on the forum which was always in good jest. Now everything seems to be moderated to and somewhat ridiculous level! You can't joke you can't have any banter, any attempt to do so and your pummelled with the Please Read Posting Rights malarky! Everythings far too PC on this site now and pesonally think it needs to change.

It's really something when harmless banter is ploughed into the ground when spammers and people who are practically a waste of space are allowed to get away with stupid threads and posts.

I know of a few people who have lost interest in the game (myself being one) and only like to come on the Forum maybe play the odd game but now, the Forum has just become filled with rubbish. Maybe moderators/admin should spend more time cleaning up the Forum and making it decent again instead of being Maggie Thatchers!

Seriously though. The forums used to be fun. You could have a laugh, bit of light hearted banter.

To be honest i could say to Dom 'you fail' on a thread and i'd get the book thrown at me now.

It's because mods/admins think its a personal attack and don't see the funny side of it.

i fully agree with mike here, not only the forum but the game as well.

instead of the spammers being dealt with, we get the posting rights can be revoked and posting rules malarky when someone is having a joke, ive been here a long time and i get bored of seeing that same message on every thread.

Forum banter. yes, fine we all like to have a joke, but this all depends to who it is and who its aimed at in my opinion, if someone can't take it and feel like they are being abused when it may not be like that isn't our fault i'm afraid.

Maybe people themselves need to take a step back and think what is being said, last thing we want is a forum where nothing can be posted, this is what i feel you think is happening?

You know better than anyone, as a former member of the team that often sometimes go wrong and decisions are made rashly, afterall even in the real world, mistakes happen, but the majority of the time i see the action as the right way of going. But this refers to my earlier point - if the person your talking to/having a laugh with/ having banter with can't take it then it becomes into something that is very complex and a hard to deal with situation.

As for spamming. I haven't been aware of it, a few pointless threads maybe but not any real spamming.

I'm not going to cap this, however if it comes to a point where its totally off topic and just arguements are taking place then we may have no choice.

Very valid points, but when the person it is aimed at joins in which majority of the time is how it happens and someone comes and intervenes par say it gets a little annoying.

Don't get me wrong I wasn't making this thread for people to post stupid stuff on it, just to discuss how the Forum is going.

Maybe we need to have a re-think/discussion about forum behaviour and maybe evaluate choices before doing any action.

And i know you didn't mean it like that, so no problems there.

Its nice to see an opinion voiced in the right way where people can actually get each others thoughts.

I bet there is at least a dozen people who think i'm completly wrong, but its all about your own thoughts.

It's kinda nice to see i'm not alone in what I think, and decent of yourself to reply so promptly and give the thread a chance, as much of a rant I may of had, I still want to hear others opinions so let's see hwo the thread unfolds.
