i think we need to clarify what to do for others who are yet to play

he should have said race to 5 if that was case, id say play 1st to 3 like best of 5 actually suggests.

well, race to 5 means that a total of 18 frames could be played (5-4, 5-4). it shouldve said play exactly 5 frames in each if that's what people wanted. race to 3 is more sensible anyway though. 10 frames for a friendly is a bit long
