Yesterday, I'm sure I played a few games and upped my stats. Today all that hard work seems to have disappeared.

Do these points just disappear by themselves or I am not logging out properly or something?

yep same with me. my stats are going down by o.2 and all that

In arcade if your above 800 you lose 0.3 points every midnight and if your above 900 you lose 1 point, in regular if your above 850 you lose 1 point and the same in original

Not really. It's there to make it more competitive, so that you can't get to top 10, say, then stop playing and expect to stay there

That is true but it doesn't apply in gmj's case as he/she is not high enough rank yet.

5) Daily reduction: a small amount is reduced from the top player's ranking.

To prevent player's simply retiring when they are top of the rankings a small amount is chopped of their ranking daily.

The rule is a 1 point drop for any user with a ranking over 925.0, a 0.8 point drop for any user with a ranking over 900.0, a 0.5 point drop for any user with a ranking over 850.0 and a 0.3 drop for users with a ranking over 800.0.

To ensure ranking drop doesn't change order of any 2 players the amount dropped for people close to the above limits is limited. An example, someone over 900.0 could only be reduced to a minimum of 899.5 (900.0 - 0.5).

but as buddy says gmj's problem remains a mystery.

On the day in quaetion you started with 715.1, played 20 games, won 12 of them and finished with 716.3, the same rank you have just now.

Thanks for the responses. Maybe I was seeing things. All seems to be fine now. No points disappearing these days. Interesting about the higher ranked players losing points. Seems fair enough.
