How good was aguero unbelieveable debut, his second goal was class and how did he keep that ball in to set silva up, unreal player...

Yeah, all this talk about new players not having the "fitness"... Aguero has just proved what a load of nonsense that really is.

Messi continues to outshine Ronaldo.

Barca have a fearsome midfield Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Mascherano, Fabregas, Thiago.

Then a frontline of Messi, Villa, Pedro, Sanchez :O

Not bad at the back either with Abidal, Puyol, Pique, Alves.

I don't know if I agree with you Seb. Looking back at all the other games between the two and seeing the red cards brandished to the Real' players, then they have been wrongly treated.

Yesterday must be hugely frustrating for Madrid, its Barcelona. They make you chase the ball all game which can really tick you off.

Was only one challange from Marcelo which okay wasn't a great tackle and was a red card, but it was nothing major. A scissor tackle/trip wasn't plauseable for Barcelonas' reaction. For each member of the team and all the staff to invade the pitch?

Ozil claims to of been racially abused which is far worse than a physical slap in the face, kick in the leg or in Joses' case... a poke in the eye. (Loved that, his cheeky little smirk after HA!).

So anyway, your frustrated and losing, weight of 100,000 people capacity stadium which millions watching... there is pressure. One bad tackle (which is a common thing in football with todays rules)... and then 25 Barcelona staff getting in your face and grabbing you? Thats incredibly provokative and Barca are just as much to blame, and are just as dirty.

Barcelona know by having 30 men run on the field grabbing/pushing/choking the opposition is going to end badly? Surely they are not brainless, its the only possible outcome.

Of course Barca aren't sweet little angels either.
But in my eyes they just can't match the brutality/dirtyness of players like pepe, marcelo, sergio ramos, higuain, coentrao, and last but not least mourinho.
All these players have caught my eye outside of Real (playing for their national sides or elsewhere) due to dirty tackles, plays, and attitude.

Without exaggeration, I can't remember seeing a game where pepe did not deserve a red card at some stage. None.

Real's straight red cards due to shocking challenges when they're down to Barcelona are also becoming a trademark of this fixture... marcelo now, ramos and pepe late last season. I haven't seen Barca players commit those types of challenges (correct me if I'm wrong).
After yesterday's tackle- both benches were out on the pitch quite quickly, I didn't see it as an attack by Barca's bench. Of course they were angry, it was a (for today's standards) shocking challenge from behind with intent to cause injury.

I'm definitely not a Barca fan (and with 2 German players on Madrid I would usually lean towards them ), but I just can't bring myself to support them in any way.

Ha, Marcelo can't take being rinsed by Messi for 90 minutes and takes his frustrations out on a player he can actually get near.

Right in front of the bench and obviously it is going to kick off, these players hate each other. Suprised they can function as a team when they play for Spain.

As for Pepe he is dirty and over rated. In the first leg Messi pushed him over and scored, at Anfield Fernando Torres did the same a few years back.

He is a bad tackler, but that should not be confused with being tough.

my favourite spanish team is valencia because they don't spend millions their scouting and academy does it for them and they have played beautiful football since rafa was there
