4 reds, 3 blacks. Hit another black (obviously after potting a red...) and got the foul message. Conversation afterwards shows the foul shouldn't have happened.

Had this happen loads and assumed it was just me losing concentration (which is probably the case).

However the interesting thing in your picture is that the last ball hit is indicated as a red so it is possible that you glanced a red (or the program thought you did) and potted the black - in which case the call by the ref is correct.

Without replay functionality, it is impossible to determine exactly what happened unfortunately

Having another look at the picture, it appears that it was taken several shots later (because the black isn't on it's spot) which makes the 'last ball struck indication' argument invalid (though not necessarily the possible cause) and really only shows the post incident conversation - which makes it even harder to determine.

this is something what crops up once in a while, happened to me before but i tried and not let it bother me as its something in the system.

but weird thing about your pic dave is that you must have potted the black otherwise it would not have said foul 7 points so i wonder why the black isn't respotted unless you hit black and missed it.
