in world cups they now play up to 25.
The first one to reach 25 wins it.

Note. Is a player reaches 25 his turns is over, so no playing to 26, 27, 28,...

The other player than gets the break off again and tries to get to 25 as well. If he does, its turn to his oponent again, until there is a winner.

Also if a maximum of 25 is given, it gives the opportunity of, in effect, a Carom version of a 147..

Of course I understand that getting a 25 run is by no means easy, but it's just a thought
