let your mate know that he won't be able to play cup (because he's currently in a cup fixture for hawx) and he can't play clan league until transfer window. (not trying to ruin your excitement by the way )

Mate, i can have him in the clan
But the thing is i have 15 players registered to the league already, so i would havto take someone out to put him in..

transfer window starts from 27th December - 3rd January.
If he does join i wouldn't put him in clan league team UNTIL 27th December.
the rule if interested
League
you have to stick with your registered clan until this time (if you don't you cannot play until the transfer window comes) then 1 week break will be given for people to change clans if they wish, after this time you must stick to your registered clan by end of season.
Cup
No Transfer Window for Cup Games, if you played in a clan for cup game if you leave you cannot play in another Cup Fixture.
but technically he could play in the Cup, only if he hasnt started/played his game with hawxs AND gets subbed by hawxs before the deadline or his name would be in defaults and class as played.
