Isn't the correct qoute
The playing area is obviously increased, however, the dimensions and resolution of your particular system may preclude taking advantage of the increased area whilst maintaining the correct aspect ratio for the table. In some cases this can be overcome by changing the chat area size, but not all.

One of selling points of Premium Membership that has been listed is....
"Would you like an advert free game to allow less distractions and a larger table area?"
However, I'm not experiencing any difference in the table size whatsoever (I've measured). The only difference to the table is that it's more central as there's no advert to the left of it.
Could this just be my laptop / browser or is Premium Membership being falsely advertised?

Premium membership gives you unlimited advert free gameplay. The advert bar is completely removed from the game allowing increased playing area.

Ummmm... yes it is the correct quote. I copied and pasted it.
http://www.funkysnooker.com/upgradeAccount.do
It's near the top of that page.
It also says the part you quoted as well, and I don't have a problem with that part, hence why I chose to quote the part I did.

Yes, but what you quoted is a question and not a statement of what is provided. Hence, there is no false advertising.

Okay then.... it strongly implies Premium Membership provides a larger table with the massive title PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP and then saying "Would you like an advert free game to allow a larger table area?"
Are you suggesting that questions can't constitute advertising? So if I ask you "Would you like a cup of coffee?" and you say "Yeah please!" and then I bring you an empty mug and say that I wasn't actually offering you one and that it was only a question, you wouldn't be a bit like "Where's my coffee?"

It says. To 'allow' a larger table area.
Doesn't say it definitely gives you it.

Does it give it to anyone then?
It says larger table area in bold! And if you don't get a larger table area then I'd say that's pretty cheeky at least.
Pffft... whatever way you put it anyone that reads it will be expecting a larger table area. What's the good in being allowed to have a larger table area if you can't actually have one? What a rip off.

There's a reason why it says "allowing increased playing area"
.... Because every system works differently in the way the playing area is displayed.
Nick has absolutely no way to control how the table is displayed on every computer, it's just tough luck if your computer doesn't increase the size of the table.

My Table is pretty big on my computer but went on my mates laptop the other day with the same size screen and the table was much smaller.

Sounds like your mates laptop is set up with a smaller resolution than what your computer is.
