This is only relevant in the case when a red ball is potted?

I do agree that 30 minutes is too long for a default game on funkysnooker, but with a default of 10 minutes and options for other times, with powerplay times etc adjusted accordingly, I think it would work.
I can see people wanting to play longer games as they get used to it, if for no other reason than to gain the highest possible scores..
In that case would you have 3 tables like say Highest Score for 10 minutes, 15 minutes and 20 minutes or would it be rolled into 1?

I thought about that as well...
It may well be like on our own Killer table, where the breaker has a 2nd shot if he doesn't pot off the break.
OR
A smash break will be able to pot a red from the break...

Well, the layout of the reds is just the same as 9-ball over on pool, so if you know how to pot a ball on the break without hitting the 1 ball, then it should be so simple....

another addition would be to include on this would be to introduce a points head start option,i think it'll that will be more challenging than winning a game of normal power snooker,i think the normal format could lead to lots of conceded games, seems inevitable. It would mean the decent players not just having to turn up to win games, actually making them work for it.

But there are other balls on the table that aren't on the Pool table. So the break on 9 ball pool might cause a red to go through the pink spot on a Snooker table, and not go in because of the pink being there, so the break would be different.
But that ruins the ethics of the game, the game of Snooker is started equal, and the best player wins.
Simple.

how would you be able to create the power zone and powerplays on here?

the break off is flawed. Dont think smashing the reds all over is good.

17:07 Fri 29 Oct 10 (BST) [Link] Thats the whole idea of the game in the first place!!!!
Its about scoring as many points as possible, not safety play!!
The only flaw i can see is the fact that you are not hampered when the cue is along the cushion. I would imagine that the pros would try and use that as their defense if necessary

so really this game isnt aimed for the under 800 ranks?
