ive been playin marshroiter and he said to me i was reduced 2% in points because of edge modification it didnt come up on my screen but it did on his apparently does such a thing exist if so could i be told what it is and why i was deducted plz

Go to the help section and look up 'how the rankings are calculated' under Gameplay - edge mod is under section 3. careful tho, its gets a little scary. i suggest a nice cup of tea whilst reading

1angel1 basically, the ranking system goes from 500 to 1000, and edge modification is to stop players reaching those rankings a small percentage of the points is lost when u get close to these extreme rankings untill u get no score for winning on 1000 points and losing on 500 hope that covers it for ya

At the moment when i win a game it takes 50% off of my point winnings, because if i still recieved 100% of the points i would get to 1000 in 3 matches time, so there needs to be a way of stopping players easily reaching the highest rank possible. That is where edge modification comes into it.
