Ok so I recently saw a thread where it was suggested that there be some sort of announcement given for achieving a 10+ man win in Killer.

Heres another suggestion which I think may be slightly better.....

We could have a run system, just like in Carom, and if you go through the game without missing, gaining a run of 20+, you would then get an announcement.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Killer Snooker - jack_pot got a run of 21

It would also be an additional statistic on your profile.

"Greatest Run:"
"Occurrences:"
"Run Today:"
"Runs of +20:"

+20 is obviously just 1 suggestion, others may think this is too low, but personally I feel its a decent achievement.

So anyway, what do you guys think?

I think a run of 20 in killer is a decent achivment aswell not as hard as the camron but I guess that is why in Camron its only 5 lol but you need to remember how many additional stats will there be before it looks messy I would like these stats:

Instead of halfs have 10 man killer won
Instead of Cents have 15 man killer won

For them we would need a 15 man killer option

But yeah I like your idea, give killer abit more

pot 2 = run of 2, is that the logic here?

Although you have to pot 2 without missing..

So,

pot, miss, pot, wouldn't be a run of 2 because you missed a shot.

Just like carom really only you don't take another shot straight away if you pot. You'd obviously have to wait for the others to shoot just like you normally would.

Hm didn't think about that. It would probably have to count as 2, because it currently counts towards your turn success so it would only make sense.

hmm yeah but it doesnt on straight pool and its using the same logic (even though potting 2 and not counting isnt even a real rule in straight).

Good point. That would mean making 2+ pots in 1 shot a foul.

Which to be honest might be a good addition in itself.
Most of the time when 2 or more balls are potted, it's through a hit and hope shot, or just a fluke.

I could see people disliking that rule if it was implemented though.

I quite like the idea though, would certainly get me playing killer on a regular basis.

There would be something else rather than just the rank to play for which would make it a lot more competitive.

People always want to find a challenge that they can aim for and make a target of. I suggested this idea on Pool and it didn't take off that well, but with the right support it could be good. another idea being an announcement for having a perfect game in killer i.e a game without missing.

adding pots without missing stat would be a good idea though it depends who you are following,if you follow a bad safety player it kind of devalues the skill of not missing pots.

The same thing applies to 7 balling in 8us, but that still gets it's own stat
