Fancy getting some adds that don't lag the game next time plz?

Adverts will not affect funkysnooker if your system is set up correctly, like the one i am using, the dating advert gives me no lagg on this pc, it does on my linux OS but i stop animation on it by right clicking and changing it to low quailty, stop it being on loop and rewind it to stop animation. I hope this helps.

wild_boy - i guess it's all good and well to tell people to get this and get that, but people shouldnt really have to change their computers in order to play a game. It's a lot more effort than just saying to a certain company "look, the users arent happy that these adverts are causing game problems. they've probably got more chance of quiting because of them, than clicking them".

Although it just seems like we have to live with it just so that the site can function "properly" by having this little income. Only i dont see how it function properly with this amount of lag. It's a bit of a contradiction to what the use is for. Unless of course the money is being blown on drinks and women, which is, ofcourse, much more effective use of money.

Personally, i dont see how this situation is any different from those previous orange adverts which caused so much problem. I guess the lesson in "dont put animation adverts on your website because users of the site start to complain and become unhappy with what they are playing so are likely to quit" was just forgot about.

Mav i can understand your fustration to an extent, when i say extent i mean i don't experience it because this ad never pops up on my screen, therefore i cannot judge gameplay when its there. However as for your recent "rant" as i like to call it i can usure you that it will be looked at, i don't know when but it is an importancy as i can see from the ammount of users that are suffering from it.

And yes i can confirm that ad's help with the finacial side of this site but i don't know much about it

xmavadox, this "little income" keeps the website running. No adverts = no website, and I'm sure most users understands that, it's not rocket science...

Nick - Back to the "your java is wrong or could be better" arguement. Tried that, and it made no difference. Im sure a lot of users do understand that income is made through the adverts yes. Mind you, one person offered to pay to have them removed.
Why do the adverts need to be in the game screen? Theres plenty of more room on the homepage, which can be closed. At least the companies cant complain their adverts arent on the site.

Nick, if you're basing the fact that "user levels have never dropped", over the fact that there are numerous threads saying that there is a problem over adverts, then thus is the problem in your argument.
You seem to be trying to trying to say there isnt problem by saying this, which there blatantly is. Lets try and solve the problem rather than denying it!!

of course adverts are expected on a site of this calibre.. they dont lagg my computer wotsoever or other computers i have been on this site with. maybe your computer is so slow because you bum jamie... just a suggestion
