I was in process with the Met Police about 6 years ago, passed my exams, medical, fitness (just!!! ruddy beep test, grrr I nearly had a heart attack) I was waiting to be called up for training etc at Hendon, chased this for a year and a half or so and was told they were recruiting the ethnic minorites and women etc and every time I chased they would say I would go back to the top of the pile to be called up, meanwhile London police were getting stabbed / shot at and I thought £27K per annum was not enough, I wanted danger money, looking back I made the right decision to pull out of the process, the only reason I actually applied in the first place was my girlfriend wanted me in the uniform.....possibly the handcuffs too.... pfffft
Opps that above was reply re Si123 police job, forgot to point out my childhood dream though...for some reason I wanted to be a chef on a cruise liner, cant cook for toffee though to this day *sigh*

Always was to be a professional cricketer - I made it into Gloucestershire U13s side but then I broke my ankle about 3 weeks later and that screwed it up
So then I became as lazy as I am now and I want to do something with Web Design - creating the websites, all the coding is brilliant I know I'm a geek but a hot one
Edited for swearing

Can you do that or are you learning?
Also don't use frontpage pro people start with that but it never helps out doesnt have the professional look to it!
Just code it all in note pad but if you want to see it created whilst you code use something like dreamweaver to start off with!
But if your already good at it then I will shhhh

I've done some coding before, I know about javascript and such from my work experience, when I created a website so it's all good
I use dreamweaver, and just create the code myself rather than use the easy way

You use dreamweaver, surely thats the easy way? I'd assume creating code in a program like notepad or notepad++ would be much difficult than using a GUI, like dreamweaver.

No, when you open Dreamweaver, you can either write the script yourself or design the site and it writes the script itself, I prefer to write the script myself

Commercial Airline Pilot - Still negotiating the challenge, even now.
Having flew a small cessna in Bristol a few times and successful enough to be able to use a 737 simulator in Southampton in 2010, i still have a fair chance of fulfilling a boyhood dream.
The skies the limit, heres to my dream
Cheers
