There isn't any new ranking system, however the scale has been increased for tournament games (by 20%), reduced by 40% for regular ranked games. This wouldn't have made much a change for the result.

Actually, regarding newbies (and re-setters), the protection has been increased. There's also other changes are made to deal with people recreating or resetting. Friendly games no longer count towards no longer being a newbie, newbies can't play in tournaments and other features like medals have been added to try and encourage re-setters to stick with accounts.

I just played in arcade tournament and i got drawn with a 650 ande i smash break and miss , i expect because he is 650 that he will most certainly not hit abreak over 30 and he starts potting top drawer shots like a 900+ na dgets a break of 30+ and goes on to win i was first in the rankings but after losing 9.7 points i ain't anymore this just really annoys me!!

I just found out it was not him playing but his mate sealeyboy who is ranked much higher!! what a joke!

When will you ever learn that rank is not a true representation of a players skill level! If you smash the break and dont pot then you run the risk of that happening no matter what rank the player is!that is a matter for "contact us" and not the forums

look at the state off my ranks, i dont give a monkeys what there like i can beat the best off them in any game type on a good day(apart from orig)

Before the tournaments became ranked and on an old account (i_am_deco i think) I was an intermediate on all game types just to enter tournaments and annoy people who assummed because I was an intermediate that I was crap and then I cleared the table!

If a free online snooker game makes you so angry and devastated i recomend you stop playing it..

the ranking system is fair in my opinion. cant have everyone at 900+
