I think there should be a seeding system based on how well people have been doing in tournaments lately and current rankings? Would be fun i feel and people know who to look out for in tournaments (:

I can't see any advantage in this, especially as it is not clear whether you intend it for information only or as a mechanism to influence the round draws.

the thing that is also on my mind is in brackets there are tournament wins, surely that shows who is seeded favourite for it ?

hmm, could be for both i guess? whats so bad about influencing the round draws? especially if you play loads of tourns and say you constantly reach semis/quarters then you'd feel you could do with an easier draw?!
and itd be informative too i guess. but mostly fun, something to aim for while playing tourns apart from tournapoints

That's one reason, why I can't see an advantage. The number of times, I've played a tournie and wished the opponent good luck to get the reply on the lines of "I''ll need it, you are favourite to win this" when that is clearly not the case - especially if whocares8x8, kaison or other great player(but doesn't have as many tournie wins) is in the tournie.

Far from it, that would mean that less experienced players would be constantly playing far better players and may become easily discouraged and all the good players would be raking in the points for very little effort.

ahh right. just felt it would involve more players rather then the select few who have won tournaments aha

amount of tourns doesnt always show the players quality tho, ive played a few who have jus come back to the game or not as good as they used to be and i beat them

well thats like me, ive won 11 last month, and now im not winning any, but i reckon the amount of tournament wins you have, your going to expect them to be a tough game, and also one of the favourites to win it

still would be pretty cool with a bit of info on each player tho, like how far they got last tourn they played, amount of finals, semi-finals etc (:

you can see if someone has been in a final or a semi recently by lookin in there events because they get torna points for it

yeah true, but you know there are some people that dont think o that on the spot haha

bit too much effort for me to check on their profile! haha call me lazy but maybe there could be like a little box that appears when you put your cursor over a name that has a few stats in it ?

you want to know what i think, people need to get up and lively and be bothered to look on peoples profile for this,,
