Hi all, this is mainly for the people who like to spell correctly.
How about the option of a spell checker when you post a message, this can be done on e-mail and wounderd if it could be done here, obviously it would be optional so you can have it to your preferred way.
Only reason I like this idea is because I usually post a thread and then after reading through itI find something daft and just have to edit it which becomes annoying.
What do you all think (Also before somebody mentions it, I dont want to copy the whole thing into word or on the internet to check it lol)

It's not quite that simple virt - the punctuation used in some versions of word is recognised as special characters here in the posting field, so you would have to re-do every piece of punctuation in your post.
If you add the google bar to IE that has a spell checker as well
You could, of course proof read every post, but it is normally just as I hit "post" I realise - oh no time to edit
Of course this does ressurect the idea of a reveiw post section
And failing all of these there is the option of editing within 4 mins (I think) without it showing and up to 4 hrs then it says edited at xxxx
I think review post is a favourite for me

Just learn to spell correctly...
If the standard education system has failed you then possibly further education could be sought for the purposes of improving your overall grammatical and spelling abilities. Overuse of spell-checking / calculators etc is counterproductive to overall learning and improvement of life long skills.

Further to the above, it is counterproductive for the education of youths nationwide to have spell checking devices readily available. The only effect it can have it to make an already lazy group of individuals much worse than they currently are.
For those reasons, I disagree with the introduction of any spell checking device.

Another alternative (and I know it's getting rare in some households), is to use a dictionary
Then you have the added bonus of seeing how other words are spelt, whilst looking for a particular word!

While you are at it baff you might want to check the spelling & definition of "spelt" which is in fact a hexaploid species of wheat
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelt
Spelled is the correct word you are looking for which is To name or write in order the letters constituting (a word or part of a word).
