Little worrying that post James!
I think the one thing that seperates the "old school" and "new school" players are that the latter are happy to sit on their rank whereas "old schoolers" always aspired for more.

Ragefire was (Is?) a beast of a player. Never really got the credit he deserved.
Used to be some good banter on here, pretty much every night nothing on the tele, 15/16 years old, straight on funkysnooker.
Used to love the "scandals" of the site as well all the mods PMing each other links and such like of potential cheats and banned members trying to sneak back on.
Oh the fun!

lol I could name a few that would not last longer than 5 minutes if they were found out to be on the site lol
Problem is there is always clever people and theres only so many ways of banning people for example IP ban (Just change it) and a few more that are hardly used.
If they gave up getting rid of people who were banned then they might aswell let people do what they want rules are there for a reason

I Don't think we are happier to sit on rank, there is some people that just dont play for a while, but I haven't come across anyone who will get to a high rank and stop playing ranked games, but some people may not "aspire" for rank, some may work hard on their breaks and other stuff like that and some will work on both, but in all fairness it's very time consuming and addictive.
I do love the site but I wouldn't like to sit on it all day as im sure you're all the same, but there's certainly players from the "new school" that have proved themselves to be matches for the "old school".
The only difference is the "old school" have been around longer so in turn have had more time to achieve their accomplishments.

Ha, you would think wouldn't you?
But nah, I remember one guy got banned one minute, was back another.
It was like a game within a game trying to find him and ban him, and he would try and sneak under the radar.
Must have ended up with over 100 accounts.
