It's not the fact that there may or may not be mod spots left, its that the people who the players want to be mods dont even get a look in.

Players of this game have wanted Driver8/Funky_al/rotherham6 and many more for instance for a long time, but i guarantee nobody who has ever been mentioned by the players will be picked. The next mod will be Guest078 because he played pool for 2 years, despite his inabilty to chat on the snooker game.

I just want to see a mod who will put time and effort into the snooker game that he/she enjoys playing. Someone who will be online to stop the idiots abusing newcomers to the game, and stop people asking to see nude pictures because they found out one player is a girl.

It seems we only ever get pool mods, regardless of how often they come onto the snooker game. I can honestly say I had never heard of thelordofall until this post, and many would agree with me.

I assure you, i'm commited to this site, since my appointment, i've not logged onto pool!

O, and the mod applicants are being sorted through at the current time, if any are deemed good enough candidates, they will be appointed.
And if none are, its because we believe none are appropiate...nothing to do with if they've played pool or not.

I agree, not because im a moderator myself, but because iv known thelordofall for a while. He has proven to be a good mod. He is also neutral and gives no false opinions, which is what is needed.

Remember that this is not a competition to be a moderator. Nick has to be sure that whoever will be mod can match the criteria. I believe most of you do.

You asked. It's as simple as that. Just because you played pool you got to be a mod on a totally different game. 100's of people from snooker ask but they get the same usual response. no.

I know this isn't a competition, and i'm happy there is another mod, all i'm saying is I would be even happier if the new mod was somebody that comes onto snooker a lot.

1. I do come onto snooker a lot.
2. There will be a new mod/mods who applied on snooker very soon.

i think you'll be a great mod ( not as good as paul though ) as far as more moderator appointments on funkysnooker, i dont think there should be any! There's rarely problems.. and if there are i cause 90% of them ( only joking) As far as funkypool goes, the only reason i left that site was because of the constant advertisements made by the players for girls/ guys of the opposite sex and also the constant arguments about stupid things about " which football team people support" or " who the sexiest girl in the members bar is" ( as i once witnessed, it was quite funny). I love this site, but am in fear of it being taken over by mindless idiots that will treat it as a dating agency

If you're in fear of this site becoming a dating agency surely you'd want more mods then...

Fair enough Riseagainst and Madhatter, though do please bear in mind i will be on when i dont have lessons at college mainly as at night i'm generally doing something, so mornings and afternoons.

For example, i was on from about 2-5 this afternoon.

Mind you, i didn't have to do much! This site is so much better.

Its ok lordofall you were seen!!!! Rise, madhatter, yes it would be great if someone we all know gets appointed as a mod - like me lol!!!! but the moderator/admin has to know them to a degree. You can't accept someone as a mod just because they want to be one. You have to be seen to be fair, polite and generally liked on the site in addition to being able to post literate replies to all us when we moan. Now rise, i know you are articulate coz we see the posts in the forum all the time, but moaning wont get you on m8. be nice. that might.
