Game scores reset for violating fair play guidelines
I got this message in my profile --> Events tab since I returned to the suspiria account.
I haven't violated any fair play guidelines as far as I know.
May I ask the admins / moderators / fellow Funky players why I got this message. and, if it's a mistake shall we consider the possibility to remove it.
As I don't like a phrase in my profile saying I'm violating fair play.
Cheers

When an account is reactivated they reset your stats and thats what comes up
I had it on mine aswell. It is in no way a suggestion that you did actually "violate fair play guidelines"

Could be a violation in the fact that you maybe using 2 accounts when the site says that you should only be on one but I never de-activated so not sure why you would recieve that message

Fair enough.
Why don't they change this then.
I think a message stating you ''violated fair play guidelines'' should come up when you really have violated fair play guidelines.
It's a serious message, it's not saying that you like the blue ball more than the yellow ball if you know what I mean... It's suggesting you're a cheater or something.. for a person that doesn't know you.

I had asked to return to suspiria username... And was logging in as madman until I could finally log in as suspiria... Maybe that was the reason.
Anyway, no big worries.. Thanks for the answers

Yeah I totally agree with you that message does seem extremly harsh for somebody who has just de/re-activated. Unless they do actually believe that you have violated something I guess we will never no though!
Maybe g_echo is right might just be a message to say Welcome back in the worst possible way!

If you look at fuzzy ( http://www.funkysnooker.com/history.do?name=karlos107&page=2 ) he didn't get one so maybe it was the case that you had an overlap on the accounts.

It only happens when admins reactivate an old account. Which can only be done in exceptional circumstances.
When an old account is reactivated it is standard practice for the account to be reset and the "violating guidelines" is the only standard phrase associated with the reseting procedure. They dont have an option as to what is said.
Thats all from fastboysam, i had this conversation with him when it happened to me.

Anyway...whats the point in having a 7 day reactivation period if people can still get old accounts reactivated after that time, I thought that was the whole point of it being put in place.

bare in mind susp's old account was 8 months (BEFORE reactivation came in)

It can't be done for every deactivated player, I was nostalgic about the suspiria username and had a conversation with fastboysam and he said there was no problem in reactivating it.
I can't see anything wrong with people wanting to change usernames from time to time... They may feel they like a change, we may not like it but we can't stop them.

and imo isnt there another way you can reset stats wtihout this violation thing because as susp says some people now may think he is a cheat which would be 100% bogus.
like "Stats Reset by Reactivation" something like that?

Well, i deactivated my old account 11 months ago.....so because the 7 day reactivation period wasn't implemented then I'd able to get that account back?

18:07 Mon 7 Feb 11 (GMT) [Link] The whole idea of the 7 day period was to give people the oppurtunity to change their mind if they regretted deactivation or if they deactivated in the heat of the moment or when drunk etc or for whatever reason! It was also to stop admin being harrassed about reactivating
it is only in exceptional circumstances that accounts are reactivated now since the new 7 day period came in.
