i just won the arcade friendly tourney . i looked at my profile and it was not added. why arent they added ?. there as big as the ranked tourneys . i think its a bit silly to be honest . playing so many games and winning it and it doesnt come up on your profiles

If they counted, they wouldn't be 'friendlies' I'd imagine

i agree with sarah, its the same ammount of players as a ranked tournament, i dont enter them because as she said, they dont show up, i think you deserve to have it on your profile, because you have beaten a lot of players, average ammount when i did them was about 30+ and that is the same as a ranked tournament

you still have to put the time and effort into winning it, you deserve something to remember it by

i agree that the micro's shouldnt be put on, but a friendly tournament is still a tournament, just does not involve rank, i dont think that should stop it being placed as a win on your profile

But the new aim on the site is tournapoints and ranked tournies.. I entered a friendly tournament the other night and got bye's all way to final no one was bothering to turn up as you get nothing out of it other than the expiereince of playing friendly games in a tournament schedule.

Fair enough sarahh, but in all honesty it is just unfortunate that you didn't realise that they aren't really meant for serious tournament players like yourself before you entered. Really they are just like ordinary friendlies but just organised into a tournament format that is beneficial to newbies etc. to get some 'match practice'.

If you aren't prepared to put a few ranking points on the line then you shouldn't be given a win.

maybe it could be added to profile but with no tournapoints like it is now and was before the tournapoints came out.

i understand you shouldn't get a win on your profile but i feel it should be a stat with no tournapoints as everything is about tournapoints these days and not the odd tournament win stat.

Ranked - Stat + Tournapoints
Micro - Tournapoints
Friendly - Stat

As soon as there is an achievement to be gained, it is no longer a 'friendly' (in fact the term 'Friendly Tournament' is really a contradiction in terms anyway)

Just keep them the way they are, The friendly tournaments are just there to gain expiereince from and for a mess about for the people who do not like to enter the ranked one's like g_k said when they came out..

I've managed to resist 'till now, but this has been one of the quickest turnarounds I can remember. It's only a few weeks since the forums were alive with "bring back friendly tourneys" style posts.
