There's another online game I'm playing where the system recognizes where the user's IP is coming from, so the user's actual location is always displayed and there are very interesting stats, I would like to see each country's players grouped together and being able to see who the best Italian or Spanish snooker player is, I think it would be an interesting feature.

I see where you're coming from (no pun intended lol) but it would have limited appeal I think. The trouble is that the more irrelevent 'bells and whistles' you put in to what is a fairly simple but useful feature, the less likely it is to be implemented.

A slight floor in the idea...

If the suggestions appear as you type, after the first letter, you will get hundreds of results due to the amount of members registered.

So, there would need to be some way of preventing this.

Perhaps a simple "Did you mean ....." would suffice?

So if I searched "jak_po", it would say something a long the lines of,

"No such player"
"Did you mean jack_pot?"

Or, as I said above, display the most searched for player as the top result, and limit the drop down box to 10 players.

Anyway, I'm glad you all like the idea, hopefully Nick will too.

More to the point is a lot of players just pick any old country (most of the UT's used to lol) so would there be any point.
I would like to point out I really am from where i I put my allegiance to....Cyprus .....allthough I could be the best player from Papua New Guinea for example.
