I've also decided that the bottom placed finisher will lose their place in the league and be given to a new entrant from the reserves list. The player who loses their place can if they wish be added onto the reserves list to try and regain their place.

This will hopefully give some incentive to players near the bottom of the league that may not be able to qualify for the playoffs.

However, if a player who finished 1st-6th decides they want to drop out, then the 7th placed (bottom) finisher will keep their place in the league.
