I have never seen a thread about this so I am going to ask now.
Why does the game chat always jump back down to the bottom once something new comes up?
It is extremely hard to scroll up through the chat if you missed something that was said or a result that might have come up. There is constantly announcements etc etc that make it nigh on impossible to scroll back up.
It used to be like that with the peoples names on the left of the screen two. Every time new person entered the members bar if you were scrolling down the names then it would jump back up to the top.

Yeah i'm sure its not difficult just to add a box that you can 'check' that pauses the page as such and lets you scroll back up.

Yeah must admit,
found this problem very annoying, say if I went to look at forums for a bit, then when I come back, a conversation may have started, I often want to see what has been said, but then people are posting which makes it impossible for me!
Alternatively, we could ask everyone not to post!

I think the ability to scroll up is a brilliant idea.
I think it has been mentioned before but about 2- 2 1/2 years ago
It, as Dec describes, would be very useful for members trying to see if someone has answered them.
It could also be a very useful tool for Moderators and Administrators too, allowing them to scroll back easily to check, if they happen to miss something, which can happen to anyone.
The only thing I think should bring it back down to the bottom should be a "Room" message i.e. a moderator's warning or "The server is being restarted in 5 mins" so that everyone sees important messages

Agreed. This should definitely be sorted out, it's very annoying.

I got to agree here, this is 1 of them things it's very minor but definatly needs to be looked at, espicially when there is a conversation in progress in members with 10 people and when you start to miss things you might aswell just give up with the convo and leave lol
