I think that there should be some sort of score board in the game...
like points in front, points behind, points left on the table...
in the real game of snooker you always see the players looking back at a score board to see how much is left and how much the need so on... so why can't we have some sort of board. because when you are playing a 10 sec game you have not time to look at your score work out how much is left and pot....

This is all simple math, trust me after 1000's of games you get used to the math.

the professionals have a basic score board like ours. It tells them then match score, the current break, the current score.
Nothing like whats left on the table etc

well it is simple math but if you are on a timer and u havent got them time would be something that could help alot

wont happen mate, its a good idea but as peg states pros has to work out how many is left/highest break possible.

at home it will show you like.

15 1 1 1 1 1 16 at you hear commentary, pros don't have that only has there brain.

Not to mention it would clutter up the interface and be quite distracting. It would no doubt mean the table size would be reduced also, just to fit the extra score board in.

Just because someone doesn't agree it doesn't really mean it is a bad idea

Once the thread runs out of ideas/or runs into silly talk then it will be capped or left to dissapear into funky history

it could perhaps be put in a pop-up window (like pm's are)

2 reds - 43
1 red - 35

The current system ads your break as you go so what else do you need to know.

4 reds? 5 reds? 6reds? 7 reds? 8 reds? 9 reds? 10 reds? etc etc..?

Thats exactly the reason why some people want this board... i personally don't, but, its not only you & me on this site :)

He didn't write "4 reds, 5 reds" ect because you wont need snookers if there's 9 reds on the table

You don't get any more info on a snooker table score board do you.

Perhaps it's just me but when you play any game for a while there are certain things you commit to memory.

Working out if I've potted enough for the other guy to need snookers, or in fact if I need snookers is a basic element of the game.

And having lost a few bob at the real thing it's a lesson you learn very quickly.

5 reds = 67

power you times it by 1 2 or 4.

so

1 red (and black) - x1 = 8 - x2 = 16 - x4 = 32

so for every red theres 32 points available so could get a cent with 4 reds or from green to black x4 if on colours.

But in fairness this should never be introduced. Nobody playing snooker gets to see anything like that to tell them whats left. Its one of the only things you need to use your brain for and its not even difficult.
