Power Carom?

Yea i think you can do that already; its called practice.
There is two games of carom going on now, i think carom needs to be a bit popular or more than four people playing it at a time before all these ideas can be mentioned.
Although there was 6 games of carom running the other day(more than power and killer) which was nice to see
More needs to be done for people can learn the rules to it.
As once people know the rules people really enjoy it,
Also can carom tournament be swapped with the random or 9.30 original tournament?
Not to suit me or out, But there be over a 100 more users on between 8-9, this would suit people who come in from school, still at work ect, And plus the random always seems to have 3 or 4 in it anyway.
As you say there was only 2 games being played at the time, just to comment from about 15:45 to just until the start of the tournament 1 f those games in question had 7 people in the room doing a big WSO.
Gould have easily made 2 more games maybe 3 with the guest that kept popping in and out, plus regulars like dgen, dest domm fuzzy radic manetjie and a few other caromers were not about.
I believe it is a growing game at the minute with many poolers such as kev04 nh425 and shooter001 all trying their hand at it a lot more.

The only way to increase the popularity is to make it easier...E.g 2 cush's not 3...
'Power Carom' is an amazing idea...but it will still be the same carom players playing...cuz the other players who don't know how to play/can't be bothered to learn carom are still in square one.

Exactly my point though. It would be a great game to have, there's no doubt about that, but it would kill the little activity there is in the normal Carom game.

Exactly my point though. It would be a great game to have, there's no doubt about that, but it would kill the little activity there is in the normal Carom game.

I agree Carom is not really a big game to play on snooker, as you can see here -
Arcade Snooker - 8,678,344
Regular Snooker - 784,655
Original Snooker - 1,275,205
Killer Snooker - 135,031
Carom - 119,098
Power Snooker - 97,359
Carom has been around alot longer than Power Snooker has and power has nearly over taken Carom in overall games played which includes private games and friendlys. Bare in mind Power lasts for 15 minutes and still more games have been played.
This just proves that for now no changes will be made to the most unpopular game on the site. For nick to change one game that is unpopular he may have to change a few of the other games.
Its liek straight on pool everyone hates the two pot foul rule but no change will be made to it as pool changes alot and i think in my opinion both games went down hill as soon as 5 second games came in to it, just like killer you want easy points make a 15 man and set shots at 5 secs you will catch like 5 - 6 people off guard cause no one checks timer haha.
