its not bad for a 1st attempt, for layers you can use free software like gimp or paint.net but the good software like fireworks and photoshop you have to pay unless you can download a portable version somewhere.

james i hardly went to school never mind collage.....so im a complete novice lol

i remember a college project where we had to create a banner for classroom so i messed around with gimp, it has problems loading layers from pics outside gimp (e.g. ones made in fireworks).

lmao, im sort of getting the hang of this
