i could do but want to give people time to enter, after reserves have been asked i might give 2-3 days again then start if we have 16 or not, whoever has the number 1 spot would definitely get a BYE if that was case due to seeding.

Simple frames really: I smashed every one of my break-offs and his softer break-offs. If I potted, (happened only once ) I went on to win, if not, it was up to him to clear or miss.
He cleared the first two frames, then made a mistake in the third frame. I potted from the smash in the fourth and eventually (after a miss each I think) won. Fifth frame was horrible with misses and poor shots by both. 6th frame he cleared again from my smash.
Last frame I smashed, he made plant, but also potted pink (ul there). I thought I had it, but inexplicably missed on 40. He had another chance but eventually missed a tough long shot along the cushion. I ended up finishing it.
Close frames, ul ggs.
Breaks:
