I personally think the score shoulda been the other way around but I made 2 35 clearances to win one of them was a black ball game.

Were all safety battles, with someone getting first shot and then usually winning. Could have gone either way, but got a bit unlucky and lyle used his chances.
Frame 1: I got first shot and hit a 77.
Frame 2: Lyle got first shot and hit a 76.
Frame 3: He won the safety battle but missed in the 30's. I cleared for an 80.
Frame 4: I thought I won the long safety battle, but had no shot on the wide-open black. Then he missed a tough cushion shot. I then potted a cushion shot but the white fouled off the pink . Then he cleared for a 53.
Frame 5: He got first shot and hit a 91.
Frame 6: Messy one. He looked like he had it in the bag, but missed on 55. Left me with a tough but pottable cut, which I missed but left safe. I then had a great chance but couldn't get position on the last red below the black. Then he hit a nice safety, which I got out of by smashing it off two jaws, leaving him the clearance.

If there was actually a decent break for regular, might have been different haha. Rather than tapping up every game waiting for a mistake.

my safety play was good but had one chance throughout, ggs ant
