I was thinking of creating a proxy called some obscure name, eg online-business-tools.com for those with restrictive school or work policies. I won't condone or condemn use at school or work - do so at your own risk - but certainly there can be some points in both of these where computers and your time is unused.

I don't know if thats morally correct making a way for people to get around security that is set for a certain reason but.. if it was my website I would do it aswell!
And yeah aslong as people know it's not a addition to funkysnooker and that they can get into trouble through work/school then it's completly upto them.
Also Mike, we don't know what he does and if he does get the boot from work 1 day, atleast you can say 'Told you so'

Hold on, how much irony would you like to fit into a post? I post on the forum for the first time(bar a few posts here and there) in months, and you're quicker to jump on my back then I was his! Why should he be employed to not do his job? Plenty of people out there that would happily have his job i'm sure.
The point of my post is people spend far too much time on this game so why can't I put that across in an opinionated post?
Also act the big man? None of my post was acting the big man, I was just being opinionated. My post was more advice than criticism, yes definitely could have been worded better but it really didn't warrant a response like that.
Moral of the story, funkysnooker is fro spare time.
I am sorry but i never said anything against you. In GENREAL everything i said was true. I mean really, he was just asking for advice and now we have people questioning whether he should have his job or not.
Im just saying, some people should just not write anything at all!

I don't get why people are so bothered if a guy wants to play this while he's at work. Just let the guy do what he wants ffs. It's no1's business how he chooses to spend his time at work and many jobs have a lot of down time and even if hes supposed to be busy all day it's his choice and he doesn't need a load of strangers guilt tripping him for it.

sweet, 2pages of answers to my question, and 2 constructive posts lol.
1 I play at work against 90 % of other people playing at work, so I gues all people posting on this thread are all real angels.
2 It is up to me to decide if it is worth the risk being fired, maybe the reason i play snooker at work is because I don't even care about my job too much. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts.
3 thanx for all concern about my working career, it is greatly appreciated.
4 I wonder what is worse, playing at work so I am free for my family and kids in the evening or sucking up to my boss and ignore the wife and kids all evening because I need to play in my spare time. I am not judging anyone by this thought, so please dont juge me for my opinion as well.
