Big trouble !!!

seems the system administrators of my company have blocked content of funkysnooker.

When I try to go on the website it say :

access denied.
category : games

they installed kind of a proxyscript preventing opening game and chat sites
They should fire these guys...

Any smart guys in here who have suggestions to beat these guys ?
And quitting job is no option lol

Maybe you should do your job instead of wasting your time on this site. Probably the main reason your employers have blocked the site, most likely sick of you taking liberties at work, funkysnooker is a game made for spare time, not work time.

He clearly does. He can do with his time what he wants and shouldn't be given advice on a matter about which he didn't ask. So, back on topic.

It was probably good advice to be honest as many employers consider such things a dismissable offence and by attempting to circumvent the block would give them excellent grounds to do just that with very little chance of a defence seeing as it is an intentional act - effectively taking the unwanted quitting option.

Negotiation with the powers that be in order to allow access during non-working hours (such as lunchtime) would be preferable.

why? they arent playing games during work you could be taking the spot at your workplace of somebody who would work really hard.

It's a bit harsh on the people who pay you to not give the job your full attention

stating the obvious a bit but have you tried using a different browser? we found firefox on our school computers which normally used IE and everything was unlocked

Hold on, how much irony would you like to fit into a post? I post on the forum for the first time(bar a few posts here and there) in months, and you're quicker to jump on my back then I was his! Why should he be employed to not do his job? Plenty of people out there that would happily have his job i'm sure.

The point of my post is people spend far too much time on this game so why can't I put that across in an opinionated post?

Also act the big man? None of my post was acting the big man, I was just being opinionated. My post was more advice than criticism, yes definitely could have been worded better but it really didn't warrant a response like that.
