Why is it, that if you are not at the computer, but left yourself in a game room, that if an opponent comes along, and your 30 seconds have gone, and you automatically play the game?!

Doesn't make sense to me, surely if you haven't chosen yes, then you shouldn't be forced to play the game?

Yeah same as me, but I just think it's unfair that this happens to people, because I think that if you don't press yes, then surely the game shouldn't happen?

same but its a fair point that probably only nick can answer.

maybe could make it so i you dont press yes in 20 seconds it forces you to watch rather than play?

saying that most people know the risk about being in a game and being timed out.

That would be best James, because as I said, if you don't agree to the game, you don't play.

Yeah, always thought this was the wrong way round and I get it a lot because a lot of newbies and guests do not realise that it is the case (which is not that surprising because it is certainly non-intuitive).

Thats the reason games start automatically to stop people creating games and then wondering off to do something else, but theres obviously some that still do it.

In my opinion if you create a game and then start doing something else and forget about it then thats there own fault. I think it's fair to take full advantage of it, maybe it will teach them not to do it again then.

Maybe people have their computers on mute sometimes because they are downstairs with family who don't want to hear the tapping? Therefore, they can't hear the warning tone for the game, which means they don't press yes...

Is it not possible to have it so the tab on the taskbar lights up when someone enters a game? So people can see it on these occasions?

Yeah, but some people have social lives.. and don't spend all their time playing yourself, waiting for a player...

Yeah i agree, and there are some that don't....most of the time tho there are games waiting, so you could always join one of them save waiting...

Why don't you click the "Watch game" option? Nothing will happen on your part if someone enters the room, they would have to wait for someone else to enter.

Or better still, go to the chat room or log out?

The problem is that people who are new to the game do not realise that 'no action' defaults to acceptance, contrary to what you would intuitively expect.
