- There has been talk of having a major celebration for WWE Champion CM Punk on tonight's RAW as he celebrates 365 days with the strap. This isn't confirmed but there were rumblings over the weekend of debuting the new WWE Title design soon.

We covered on Tuesday how WWE Champion CM Punk complained on Twitter that WWE wasn't promoting his appearance on Sunday's episode of Talking Dead, basically the Walking Dead post-show, or his Thanksgiving Day Parade appearance in Chicago.

PWInsider reports that there has been a major disconnect within the relationship between Punk and WWE over the past few weeks. It was originally reported that John Cena was the one who spoke out at Vince McMahon backstage and told him the product needed major changes because it was in bad shape. PWInsider reports that other people are saying it was Punk who spoke out.

There's a feeling that WWE is doing Punk wrong because he has held the WWE Title for over a year now and is still not featured on the promotional material for WrestleMania 29. There's also some concern about how Punk will react if The Rock does actually take the WWE Title from him at Royal Rumble. Some feel that if Punk isn't treated right during WrestleMania season, then there will be "hell to pay."

It's said that Punk has some pull in developmental, nowhere near the level of Triple H or someone like that, but Punk has gone in and told them they should push this guy or hire this guy. Punk is expected to be a big focus of the NXT storyline invasion in the coming months.

Apparently WWE and the World Wildlife Foundation have made an agreement that WWE can use the old WWF logo on all future productions of pre november 2002 dvds. Also iv heard that the new Attitude Era dvd has been made with the WWF logo.

With CM Punk retaining the WWE Championship at Survivor Series on Sunday, thereby likely solidifying his expected match with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at Royal Rumble, the sports-entertainment organization's creative team has discussed a scenario where The Straight Edge Superstar would defeat The Great One at the annual January pay-per-view event. This would subsequently lead to Johnson facing John Cena in a re-match at WrestleMania XXIX, with Punk defending the title against The Undertaker.

Original creative plans called for Johnson to defeat Punk at the Rumble, leading to a match against Cena for the title which could still occur. Creative has given thought to how Johnson winning the WWE Championship would impact the product since there would be no titles defenses at houses shows for over two months, and also add a new issue of whether he would defend the title at the February pay-per-view event, Elimination Chamber. Not awarding Johnson would rectify that problem.

Though the importance of the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Champion has diminished in recent years, one of the primary reasons that creative has yet to unify the belts is because they feel a title match should close all house shows.

Personally, i hope the rock doesnt win as like you said there would be no title defences at house shows and also the rock is practically never there. I think they should keep punk as champion untill at least wrestlemania to cement his title reign as an even longer run but i would love to see punk as champion and never lose. Just downloaded and had a look through the Attitude Era dvd. The documentary parts still feature the WWE logo but all the matches and in ring talking is shown with the WWF logo

I think i might buy that as a Blu Ray along with the Edge Blu Ray
