This comes up time and time again, but I still can't see why people have a problem with it. Newbie is not synonymous with 'Easy' and, also, if they win you lose less points than if they weren't a newbie anyway.

newbie vs newbie - normal rank (newbie system cancelled).

you might think argh hes also a newbie and making fun of this, but just to let yous know, im a newbie because i havent played in 2 years so i reset my stats to start again...

I'm a newbie but I practiced for a good while before signing up. So... not technically new.. but given people can play for free without signing up, coing across quality newbie players is to be expected.

Newbies are not always bad players, when I first came to snooker I was better than my rank for the reason I started on pool so I had a feel for what was ment to happen etc

And you need to remember everybody needs get their first half/cent so they could of just had 1 lucky game etc

And even if you played 2 years ago your less of a newbie than alot of people, it doesnt really take long to get back into the swing of things really just need adapt to new updates.

My point still stands.

Also what about people who go onto a new account? It's a lot harder (impossible in some cases) to track.
