Could the killer rules not be changed so that if you pot off the break , it by-passes 3 balls must touch cushion rule because you have to smash them open to pot 1 .
Does anyone else agree ??

I don't particularly agree with this, as it is so easy to split the pack in Killer off the break, so there really isn't much excuse for not getting 3 balls to hit a cushion. It's not that hard.

And its only fair! I know the idea of killer is to not allow others to pot but you at least have to give them a fair chance.
You would get a distinct advantage by breaking if this was brought in! As boyler said, its not hard to get pot and get 2 balls to hit the cushion.

See I brake exactly the same everytime I play killer, same spin same power same spot lol
But sometimes, only 2 will hit the Cushion and it makes me wounder why... In real life yeah I can understand it being different loose racks etc but here there is no reason for it to randomly for no reason only let 2 balls hit the Cushion madness

I think you'll find that it is precisely the fact that it is possible to replicate the same break every time that there should be randomisation in order to mimic the real world and this is why initial table setup is slightly randomised for all game types.
The rules are fine as they are and like every game, you play with the rules as presented (which are the same for everybody) or don't bother.

Ohh yeah, I wouldnt want to change the rules I like them as they are
Just don't know why once in like 15 breaks maybe more only 2 balls will hit the Cushion lol

^^ As Buddytobud said, the break is different every time as the racks are random. This was introduced many years ago after the "golden break shot" was discovered on pool, where, if played exactly the same, players could make GB's relatively easily due to the rack splitting identically each time.

if u regularly arent able to get 2 balls at a cushion why not thinking about changing the break then?!?...
The problem is, if u break of like many do, just hit the first red very central, it might happen that white slips a bit off the red or just doesnt get 3 balls at the cushion.
Hitting it in the "arcade way" usually works for me so i really really seldom dont get 3 balls at a cushion.
So for me the rule is just perfect and shouldnt be changed.

As its killer rules related:
If a player decides to leave the game without being knocked out, this should count as a foul and give the player after them ball in hand. Presently a player with 1 life who gets snookered just leaves the game, leaving the player after them in the snooker, which doesn't seem quite right as they have played no shot. If they leave during their turn, should either be random shot penalty or ball in hand.
Anyone else think this?

Like a model citizen, I didn't create a new thread for this.
I saw a killer breakoff the other day, where the guy smashed the pack, balls seemingly went flying everywhere and he potted twice. However, and I'm about 95% certain this is how it happened, only two balls touched the cushion (along with the two balls that potted into the middle of pockets, without touching the jaw).
He was penalized for this, despite effectively four balls being hit hard enough to touch the cushion (the two that did and the two that potted).
I think the rule should be changed slightly so that balls potted count as having hit the cushion. Just seems wrong that a guy could theoretically pot 5 balls from the breakoff and still get a foul.

i feel same way about power tbh, i know its the rules but a few times ive potted from break only to be let down because 1 ball hit the cushion leaving my opponent the open table i would have had.
also 1 time someone snookered me from break with an open table and because 1 of his balls hit the cushion it passed the snooker onto me.
doesn't feel right...
