The game tries to stick to the official rules as much as is practically possible for an online game. Any deliberate move away from this would not be acceptable.

And if you don't like it...

for a start its called funkysnooker and if the rules are suppose to be official then why dont we have to nominate?

or get opponent to retake a missed snooker

and people always misread what funky means, funky means java can be run on old machines not that rules is different.

I agree. it's ridiculous. I was 4 behind in the original tournament and my opponent had a difficult black to finish and he just potted the white and went through!!

^impossible. If you were 4 behind, your opponent potting the white would've given you 7 points and put you ahead. You were 11 points behind and received the 7, which means you ended up 4 behind.
Those are the rules...

This was discussed in some detail a year ago (with many pros and cons). However, the decision was taken to implement the official rule (due to public demand).
