There have been some cosmetic changes I think by looking at the play window.

Yep, I did announce 15 mins before but I had no chance for further announcements as I was pretty busy doing the restart simultaneously on both sites. I hope you don't mind I'll change the title and add the updates in here.

Fixes - duplicate remember me bug, middle pocket increase in speed error (occasionally smashes when rolled in).

Changes:
- sound effect for reracks
- different sound effect for new tournament and tournament invite. I'm not 100% happy on the sound so suggestions welcome.
- removal of the last of the modal dialogs (play game with now shows in the same private window)

Plus the main thing is further facebook integration which I'll enable after testing, if it goes well sometime later today.

Have you not changed the font colour on the game window too ?

The noise for a new tournament isn't as attention grabbing as the older one, in my opinion.

And re-rack noise only happens after potting all the balls not if you re-rack halfway through a practice frame - is that how it's meant to be ?

The selected font colour in the game window should be more contrasting - it was mentioned by someone on here, baff maybe?

Yes, I think the tournament alert needs altering. Maybe speech prompts for "New tournament available" and "Tournament invite received"?

Yes, re-rack sound doesn't occur for manual reracks (I want it to be subtle - I thought it was annoying when you are scrolling through racks or practice games and it keeps making the sound - but that was just my first impression).

Indeed I think it is more contrasting and works well (I only mentioned it as I didn't see it in your post).

Only one thought is it is the same as the moderator's colour and I think it takes away a bit from that. Or does that change if you select different colour schemes ?

I take you point on the re-rack - I was just mentioning it in case it hadn't gone to all if you wanted it to.

I think also the re-rack noise will help in tournaments, for example I won a semi the other day because my opponent left after 1st game, not realising there was another to play ! BUT the re-rack sound could stop that happening.


Edit: Have just about heard sound for 5pm tournament definitely too quiet - not attention grabbing enough in my opinion.

i dont like the new alert for the tournaments as the arent that loud and the older ones were louder and better alerts and ppl knew exactl what they were but with these new ones ppl cant hardly hear them and forget about the tournaments??

is there a chance of any changes to that thanx

I think the new invite sound needs to at least be a lot louder. The old "BOING" was good, no mising it!

agreed, even though im not a tournament person it was too quiet (maybe twice as loud or even 3 times) but im sure nick will see to it once he sees the above posts

The events and matches archive have disappeared from player profile. Is this ment or was this done by accident?

It doesn't sound like anything from a snooker match that I have ever heard.
