Uninstall Java, restart comp...re-install java

Click the Start menu
Select Settings
Select Control Panel
Double click the Java icon.
Click on the Network Settings button.

Select the Use Browser Settings checkbox.
Click the OK button to save your changes.

Close all browser windows. Restart the browser and try to load the applet
