just unbelievable. ed had beautiful lays and made the most of them with very good consistent play. we reckon i had 1 gimme lay in all 8 frames, and about 400 DKs and 300 mm misses, with a few hundred gaps thrown in.

in the year and three quarters i have been here i have never had worse luck over a sequence of games. ah well, maybe it will reverse next round.

some would say ed got terribly unlucky in the 1-5 game...

well true seb, me playing well is very unlucky for opponent that they got the one day in the month when i do lol.

I'm not criticising anyone but we all have good and bad games. I know you're a better player adam than me, but upsets can happen. I find it a kick in the balls you blaming luck for me beating you. I'm sure your opponent at SOME stage has been unlucky much like you were at points today.

I thought that was a fair reflection of the game. Yes it's true your shots were generally easier, but you can only make the shots you have and you must have been hitting 60-65% and as i said, you played very well and consistently. But i don't think 6-2 was really a fair reflection of the games as I had to be much more inventive with my shots, sadly they were all a tiny bit off.

Is that fairer?
