I know it has been said many times before but something has to be done about the ability to time people out .. time wasting to wni a game of power as we know has become a part of that game but when someone is 29 points ahead with 22 on the table with a minute left to play shouldnt etiquette come into play here ? maybe its just me because play the game in real life and understand snooker etiquette but hey thought i would vent my disgust over the fact i got timed out thanks :D

And yet I told you that I genuinly didnt see the 1 minute warning as I was concentrating on snookering you so dont know why you feel the need to talk about it on the forum that particular incident

But in general something needs to be done, highest score goes through? Is that possible, although that would be countered the other way with the person with the highest score time wasting similar to Power Snooker so dont know what you do :S

I was using that incident as an example. All im saying is something should be looked into. I didnt name you did i? And i didnt name you because its not you i was annoyed at it was the situation of how its possible to occur and can legitamately harm chances of winning a tournament ive had it happen in a final. I'm sure it's been brought up before and the popular solution seemed to be that if snookers are needed then the person ahead goes through, if there is enough on the table to catch up then only fair that it's DQ-DQ.

That way it would be a case of 'you have that much time to get the snookers' as opposed to now where it is almost 'i'm out so I may as well take them out too'.

What I find more annoying than that is when the one minute comes up and your opponent 'does the decent thing' and leaves by clicking the close and it says ".... is not responding" because you know you are there for the next 90 secs or so thinking "Hmmm, that was a shame" knowing full well the inevitable is about to happen and you are DQ'd,

Yes i hate that buddytobudd! As the tournament doesnt allow for such 'nlah is not responding' events so you get dq when its out of your control!
