It's very annoying to be left with a hard or no shot (except hit and hope) after someone has fouled. Even if you're allowed to place the cue ball, there's not always a direct shot again. It would be nice to make them take another shot. If the person who fouled leaves (either has no lives left or just quits) then a re-rack option should be available.

Another issue is people who delibrateley miss to win the game. They may have more lives than you so tap the balls to leave you with no shot. Any ideas?

I play killer alot in pubs and nick has pretty much got all the rules bang on

You can't make them re-take as they might of generally made a mistake and it's just unfortunate that you have landed on nuthing, the odds are if they miss you usually have a little chance to pot on.

And the second point comes down to sportsmanship, if I was on 3 lifes and you had 1 I would play it out just like I expect everybody else to, but a few who do decide to tap I just don't bother playing them again. You are allowed to doit just really really bad sportmanship but some people are more botherd about the points than a decent game

i dont like this but maybe implement the 9 ball rule if u miss every ball and dont hit one then u can place the ball anywhere, or maybe if u dont pocket or hit a rail after hitting ball u can place anywhere?

those rules are in place as far as i know arent they?

From the rules for killer in help section:

"Scratching (potting the white) or hitting no balls at all loses a life, giving next player ball in hand. Similarly, if you do not pot and do not connect with a rail after connecting with a ball you will lose a life and give ball in hand."

Thanks for all the feedback.

Sometimes the foul is not delibrate, but still annoying to be left in a bad position afterwards.

The one ball must hit the rail rule is not really effective. "Tapping" the balls is quite easy.

And as I said, even being able to place the white anyway does not guarantee a pot.

And lastly; it's very hard to avoid a single player when some games of killer are now up to 15 man.

All I can suggest is if there is only one player, look on their profile before you join to see if they are A) online and B) in that room.

Yes it may be a bit of a hassle but it's much less stressful than playing with bad sports.

If there are several players you want to avoid, you will just have to check the list of players before you start. not much else you can do.
