Most of them type of websites just take your number and get loads of spam text messages, Better of of walking up to a BT phonebox if it is that important.

Never has when i've used that site. I'm on contract now tho so haven't used it for a while.

Most networks now you can get free texts if ya top up a tenner a month.

o2 if you register your number with them you get 10 free text messages per month.

You don't even have to be on o2, gonna try find you the link. (Know they done it last year not sure if it is still the same)

Over here if you top up 20 euro you can get free calls and free texts to the same network for 30 days, or free texts to any network for 30 days and a free 5 euro credit with the 20 or free texts to any network and free internet for the 30 days, quite brilliant but its only with our own network meteor.
