paint.net is far from paint. You can do most the things you can do in decent pakages you just have to do it all manually. I dont think i could do them in MS Paint.

i tried it before difference i would see was use of layers and colour picker.

I'm not upselling it. Theres no 2 ways about it, its a basic tool. But it does have the essential array of effects and image manipulation tools.
