I'll PM them, they all deserve that. There are some players I really enjoy playing with missing.

That being said, they haven't been on the forum enough.

Anyway i'm not accepting Vice until:-

a) I know everyone wants me to (inc speaking to sarah personally).
b) I know i'm going to be commited enough moving forward.

i can think off 2 players mate i will not accept in the clan.had more chances than i can remember and sarah gave them the benefit off the doubt.

nice forum, is it free? if not then could have used freeforums.org as its basically the same thing and its ready made, then just have to make the forum topics, change permissions, activate accounts etc.

i have always said though that i don't believe clans in general need a website but if it gets the members talking them i am all for it

also styles is a nice idea, on clan league forum i have a dark style and changed my name green, if your unsure how let me know.

This is free if you have hosting. I have plenty of hosting packages.

This is pretty flexible and powerful. Beyond the that of the free forums. Setup is very similar, its built for noobs with advanced options for masters.

I personally think its a good idea, otherwise I wouldn't have chucked it together.

That being said, the more forums we need to look at the more of a pain it is.

The reality is that the funky snooker forum is very limited in funtionalty. One single thread for all topics for the clan is a real pain, it makes it hard to keep track of important topics and difficult to see the different conversations that happen.

This forum would be a great solution, but it will only work if we all use it.

Further skinning can be done easily, but no point investing more time if its not going to be used.

slatty - i've registered on your forum. To be totally honest, I'm not sure if I'll use this much. Primarily, I'm on here to play snooker - obviously I dip in and out of this thread between games etc... I'm just being honest in that I don't think I would be bothered much logging into a separate site. My very old computer is slow enough without having an extra window opened!! Also, if we can't get ppl to use this thread in Funky, I think it may be even harder to get them to register/use another website.

I hope you don't take this as criticism - the work that you're putting in is incredible and greatly appreciated

Agree and disagree all at the same time.

I dont want to bother either quite frankly, however I do think that the fact that all are stuff on the same thread is part of the problem.

If this thread was busy, used by the whole clan regually it would be nearly impossible to keep up with it all. Its bad enough having to repost the current fixtures every page we fill.

With a seperate forum it would mean that ppl could find the important stuff.

Its a suggestion more than anything, I know its not ideal. Even I voted pain.... but I dont see a better solution.
