Another one for me too

slatty 3 - 1 etarvt

A nervy affair for me. When being massively inadequate in carom skills and with pot luck arcade being unpredictable. I started knowing that one miss could potentially lose me the tie.

Arcade... I broke, potted nothing. Etarvt cleared... (pressure on).

Reg... Etarvt smashed break (fair play), I saw an opportunist for a 147 and decided that I may as well go for it. Like a moron I missed on the 2nd black because the pocket was tight due to a overlapping red (moron lol (oh and thanks seb for pointing out I hadn't made one the other day )). Etvart took all of the lose reds with colours but failed to leave an angle to split the remaining balls. From his safety/pot attempt I cleared to clinch the frame on the black.

Orig... I broke, hit the knuckle of the middle pocket, went all the way round the table and snookered him behind the pink. Incredibly lucky! I then made a frame winning break from his get out shot. Every shot was very very carefully considered cos frankly I couldn't afford to miss.

Carom... etvart won the lag and made a run of 3. I missed but left it awkard, etvart missed, I missed. Then he made 1 and missed the 2nd by mm's. Then by some miracle I made a 6 run to win the match.... I mean seriously I rarely make a run of 2... where that come from?

Completely relieved that it didn't go to power

yep was about 11 months ago i think.

nah not that long ago, 7-9 months I reckon

was over 10 months because i have had this name 10 month+

surely that proves it was less than 10 months

A quickie so to speak...

At least it saves adam the agony of losing in the final again.

arc was scrappy, i let him in and he got me needing snookers, i just overran a decent chance and he cleared. reg mouse twitch on break left a red on and pretty much sean cleared with a cent. was slightly fortunate a couple of times losing position but always managed to fall on a ball of some description and finished a couple of tough pots nicely. orig he might have left a red on, i tried to squeeze it in and it rattled, he hit a frame winning half.

oh and if anyone has a cure for a laptop thats running at about the same temperature as the earth's core please let me know, im slightly concerned having that heat in that location when using the laptop .

The last game between alex and horse is due Friday in a week!

We have tried a few times and keep missing each other, hopefully will get played soon
