What happened to being able to express your feeling towards an idea?

I hope Nick doesn't listen to this idea. The whole idea for having a public forum is to discuss ideas. If a "Like" button, or similar, is introduced, would anyone even comment on a thread? Or would you just click the like button?

interesting as why people dont like it.

i was watching our thread (untouchables) at all the abuse going on.

then the mod came in saying watch ya language etc,

i thought,

then thought, hmm wish there was a like button.!!!!

on that occasion would of liked to see it!!!

Hmm, that is one instance in which a like would have probably sparked more arguments.

But I am totally against the idea. It got implemented into the other forum that I go on (but also has a dislike button), and all it does is it slows the page. Nothing else. I hope it never appears, or else I might just quit.
