i thought that it would sub a striker for a striker, defender for defender etc

No, it subs in order as long as that produces a valid lineup (minimum 3 defenders, minimum 2 midfielders, minimum 1 striker)

I really am tempted to stick Aguero upfront with Rooney but Tevez is back, Dzeckos performing and Balotelli somehow gets games.

Also with United playing Chelsea, Tottenham facing Liverpool... I might stick Cahill down as my captain for Bolton v Norwich. Clean sheet I reckon and prey he scores

Or it'll be Samir. I could be really optimistic and give the band to Bosingwa, but he will have a handful with Young, Nani and Rooney running at him all game. Not to mention the fact would could quite easily let in 4 goals.

Ended up undecided so went against everything and took out Lennon to stick in Jarvis. I think he will run QPR up and down.
