I have them turned off while competing, yet It never seems to stop me getting them off anyone. Really annoying. Happens on both sites. Anyone else getting this?

have you got anyone on friends, it might work if you have friends but not 100% sure.

Yes I do, but it makes no difference.

If someone is your friend, then they can pm you even in-game. Always been like that for me.
Haven't had any messages while playing though, so I think it works.

It seems to be the case that Friends can PM at any time and the block only applies to others when competing in a Tournament.

i think they needs to be an block all friends option or block everyone so if they block pms you know they are busy playing or dont want to be disturbed (i.e. cent/max chance) while keeping your head to head stats with friends.

Well considering it wasn't someone on my friends list just rules that out.

Depends on whether you regard PM as 'Private Message' or 'Private Messaging' I suppose ... of course we all assumed the latter
