say i was pro in regular but novice in carom i would probably want to reset carom but keep the regular rank

been talked about before and fair to say a negative idea.

rule pretty much is you reset one, you reset them all.

This is brought up so many times and the answer is always the same ... it is all or nothing and that is not going to change.

As I've said many times before. The reset feature was added to stop people deleting all the time, has nothing to do with obtaining better statistics at all, so this idea will never be added, and rightly so.

I personally think the reset feature should be gone completely simply due to the fact it is not a true representation of a persons statistics really .. as you may of lost your first 100 games

Exactly, which then defies the point of having the reset function removed in the first place.

Yeah it doesn't give a fair view of how people are doing in the game, if people want to de-activate because they're doing badly then good luck to them.

Stats-wise it doesn't matter whether people reset or deactivate. Their true stats will never be reflected, because they've already played games before.
That is why the reset function exists. People don't have to create dozens of usernames every time they want to reset.
People will reset stats one way (reset) or another (deactivate). I would prefer the first option.

The difference is though that a Reset appears for all to see in the Events tab and is irreversible, whereas a deactivation leaves no record (other than people putting 'My other account was a Ferrari' type About Me entries) and you can change your mind within 7 days.

My point sort of still stands though.

Also slightly off topic, but if you deactivate then come back next day, does daily reduction happen to your account?

yes it does.. i deactivated this account the other day at 873

came back 4 days later and i was 870

Like dame said the reset feature was added to stop people deactivating all the time, for example if i was good at arcade,reg,carom,power all 900 rank and i had bad stats for orig would be silly to say i keep resetting orig to make me all 900 rank at some point, would be no fun in the game! so resetting all is the only way! deactivating and getting a new name is just the same still back to newbie and 675 rank in all.

trust me, my arcade stats are class compared to my rest, and if i could, i would reset all the others and just keep arcade

346 halfs 20 cents in about 2k games is crap.
